After three years of development, Common Ground Therapy Worker Cooperative has launched its public-facing website. We are now actively seeking qualified therapists to join us as member-directors as we prepare to open our first premises in south-east London.
After three years of development, Common Ground Therapy Worker Cooperative has launched its public-facing website. We are now actively seeking qualified therapists to join us as member-directors as we prepare to open our first premises in south-east London.
This is a significant milestone in our journey. Since autumn 2023 we have been building the foundations of a democratic, community-focused therapy practice — and now we are ready to share that work with the world.
What we have built
Over the past three years, the founding group has:
- Recruited 23 therapists and formed a 13-person Core Group
- Trained in Sociocracy and established our governance structure
- Completed our Articles of Incorporation and Secondary Rules
- Established our trading name, legal name, and domain (therapy.coop)
- Developed our logo, branding, and this website
What comes next
We are now focused on two things: recruiting more member-directors to join the co-op, and preparing to open our first physical premises in south-east London.
