Therapeutic supervision and consultation for organisations

Common Ground Therapy offers therapeutic supervision and consultation to organisations across south-east London. This service builds upon the reflective practice group work but differs in that the support process is more ongoing and offers space for case discussion which can rotate between attendees.

Areas covered

Where necessary, this service can also provide support with making sense of the task of navigating complex systems and networks which support children with statutory care mandated or children with additional needs provision. Liaising with these systems and networks is also possible, supporting the advocacy role of professionals and families in order to enhance the level of care needed by families or their children.

Confidentiality and consent

Please note that any liaising within systems and networks of care and support, and any contact with other services regarding the private information of families and individuals, is dependent upon the families and individuals giving explicit consent for this to happen. The imperative of consent aims to prioritise the ongoing practice of confidentiality in terms of what is shared in the course of therapeutic work.
