For therapists & practitioners

Clinical Supervision

Common Ground Therapy offers clinical supervision to therapists and practitioners across south-east London. Clinical supervision is available for qualified and trainee therapists, counsellors, and other practitioners working with children, young people, and families. Supervision provides a regular, reflective space to explore clinical work, develop practice, and maintain professional standards.

Dr. Nicholas Frealand offers supervision informed by psychoanalytic and systemic principles, with particular expertise in work with children, adolescents, looked-after and adopted young people, and complex trauma.

Who is it for?

Supervision is available for:

  • Qualified therapists and counsellors seeking individual or group supervision
  • Trainee therapists requiring placement supervision
  • Practitioners in schools, CAMHS, social care, or the voluntary sector
  • Teams and organisations seeking consultation on complex cases

What to expect

Individual supervision sessions are typically 60–90 minutes. Group supervision and consultation arrangements can be discussed. Supervision is offered in-person and online.
